ベルリンの壁から、自転車でほんの7分…
ふと立ち寄ったフランス菓子店
「DU BONHEUR」——
名前の意味は“幸福”。
その響きに誘われるように、
外のテーブルでケーキをいただきました
ベルリンの風に包まれながら、
自転車で街を巡る日々が、
いつの間にか私の日常に…
電車では見えなかった景色の中に、
暮らしの温度や、
人々の息づかいが見えてきます…
秋の風に頬をなでられながら
食べたケーキは、
驚くほど優しい味がしました…
帰り道、ふと足を止めたのは
美しいの花が並ぶ小さな花屋さん…
黄色とピンクのお花を選びました…
菊の花をベースに選んだ黄色は、
どこか日本の香りがして懐かしくて——
お部屋に飾ると、
まるで秋の光が微笑むようでした
ドイツのスーパーには、
赤みを帯びたハロウィンかぼちゃがずらり
日本のかぼちゃとは違う色合いが、
この国の秋を鮮やかに染めていました…
風にのって、季節が少しずつページをめくる…
そんな午後のベルリンでした
【Memories of Cake, Wind, and Flowers — in the Autumn of Berlin】
Just seven minutes by bike from the Berlin Wall…
I stopped by a little French pâtisserie called DU BONHEUR —
its name means happiness.
Drawn by that gentle word,
I sat at a table outside
and savored a slice of cake beneath the soft autumn light.
Wrapped in the wind of Berlin,
riding my bicycle through the city
has quietly become part of my everyday rhythm.
In the streets unseen from the train,
I began to feel the warmth of daily life
and the quiet breath of the people around me.
The cake I ate as the autumn breeze brushed my cheeks
tasted surprisingly tender — almost kind.
On my way home,
I stopped in front of a tiny flower shop
lined with beautiful blossoms,
and chose a mix of yellow and pink ones.
The yellow, based on chrysanthemums,
carried a faint scent of Japan — nostalgic and gentle.
When I placed them in my room,
the flowers seemed to make the autumn light smile.
At the nearby supermarket,
rows of reddish-golden pumpkins for Halloween
painted the season in colors
so different from those in Japan.
Carried by the wind,
the season turned one quiet page at a time…
It was such an afternoon in Berlin.
